I have hunted quail and ducks for 50 + years. It's safe to say I know something about working dogs. When my GSP Taco came of age (6 months) we took him to Russell for obedience and bird/duck work. It soon came clear that we were missing him a lot more than he was missing us. He had and absolute blast and came back a changed dog. Taco is now well on his way to being a versatile hunting dog as well as a good city citizen. The staff at Bosque River are extremely professional, honest and kind. They thoroughly evaluate your pup, identifying strengths and weaknesses, then develop an individualized plan specific to your needs. They use positive reinforcement and never physically or emotionally abuse them. Indeed, their whole focus is on the dogs physical and emotional health. Great for city dogs as well as working dogs.
